In November 2018, we went on a 15 day adventure of a lifetime and eloped in Tulum, Mexico! We have so many crazy and amazing stories from eloping in the Yucatan, and we can’t wait to share them!

Even though we had an intimate elopement ceremony in Tulum on 11/11 (just the two of us and our tripod), we still wanted someone with a creative eye to capture all the special moments!  During the week following our ceremony, we invited an amazing local wedding photographer/florist to join us on a photographic journey through the Mayan jungle and all over the beaches of Tulum!

She literally took thousands of pictures and we spent HOURS making sure we captured all of the shots that we envisioned with our photographer!

New in the Shop! Handloomed Mayan Textiles and Tapestries From Tulum, Mexico!

The Yucatan Peninsula along the Caribbean coast in Mexico contains many amazing handmade treasures, including handmade Mayan tapestries and textiles. That is, if you are willing to adventure to all the hidden Mayan villages and cities near Tulum.

Tulum was the destination for our November 2018 elopement, but we considered the entire Mayan jungle our territory when we were treasuring hunting in Latin America.

We spent hours upon hours and put over 1,000 miles on our locally rented Jeep Renegade, and met many talented Mexican artisans while gathering these amazing Mayan textiles, tapestries, wall hangings, and rugs!

The collection of handloomed tapestries from the Yucatan are now available in the Etsy shop

Check out the photo gallery below for some detail shots of the collection!
